A transdisciplinary approach to adolescent safeguarding education

Background: Adolescent safeguarding is a key public health issue, which requires transdisciplinary approach to address the range of risks seen within this critical period development. Aims: The aim research study was explore need for adolescent education programmes. Methods: A qualitative descriptive undertaken with participants studying or teaching on nursing, policing, social work, youth work and programmes at North-West University in England. Participation involved either completion JISC online questionnaire an informal interview, data analysed using thematic analysis. Findings: Two themes were identified data; professional culture, three subthemes: curriculum content delivery identity. Conclusions: This has highlighted adopt life-course (adolescence) hybrid (uniprofessional transdisciplinary)
